Dixon 3R Framework for Trauma-Informed Schools

Professional development should never feel like something staff simply have to sit through. It should be meaningful, practical, and worth their time.

At Resilient Roots Training, I believe effective professional development must connect with the people in the room and the real challenges they face every day. Information is only valuable when participants can see themselves in it, understand why it matters, and know what to do with it afterward.

That belief is the foundation of the Dixon 3R Framework: Relatable. Relevant. Resolvable.

The professional development and trainings are offered in these formats: half day (3 hours), full day (6 hours), Virtual Sessions, In-Service/PLC, and Consulting and Coaching.

Relatable

Training is grounded in authentic experiences that are happening in your school.

A woman in a dark blazer standing and speaking to a group of six people seated in a semi-circle in a modern, bright office or conference room with wooden walls, a large window, and colorful abstract artwork on the wall.

Relevant

Content is directly aligned with realities of school environments, not just case studies.

Resolvable

Educators leave with clear actionable strategies that are ready to implement. Present issues using present approaches
